*No spoilers ahead*
It only took three days for me to finish the Hunger Games trilogy and to be taken on an emotional  roller coaster. I felt sad, angry, happy, astonished, and even depressed, which is more than I can say for some of the past books that I have read. There was never a dull moment in the series. If three books can evoke such emotion from me, then they are a must read. I am so affected by these books that I can’t even look at any berry the same way again. Too obsessed? As I typed “mockingjay” into the search engine and browsed through people’s reviews, I discovered that they share the same reaction to the third book as me. You would think that Mockingjay would wrap up the series with all questions answered, but it just leaves your mind in complete disarray. It just ended so suddenly. I really wish that Suzanne Collins added a bit more into the epilogue and delved more into each character’s mindset towards the end of the novel. Besides the mediocre ending, I would say that this series is perfection. There is adventure, romance, and suspense. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger begging for the page to be turned. I would like to give credit to those wonderfully written cliffhangers for making me stay glued to the couch until I finished one book each day. Now I am eagerly searching for Hunger Games fanfiction to fill the gap in my heart awaiting the release of the upcoming movie and hope it does the book justice.
